Lesson 2 in setting up an Adult site

Welcome back.

Right now you should have an account with Zipped Sites, Cash Maniacs, Movie Dollars, and with either or both Thumblogger and Redlightblogs.

Holy Smokes Batman! That's an awful lot of info to keep track of!

So we're going to do a spreadsheet right away, and introduce you to a new toy. Now if you DON'T have a spreadsheet or a DB application on your computer, or if you don't know what one is, leave a comment on this post, and we'll put up a lesson on how to use software to keep track of what we're doing. Don't be shy about asking, because most people don't have these skills, and it will take just one lesson to get you where you need to be. For now I assume that you can follow along with me.
(And yes, you can whip up a quick DB if that's easier for you then a spreadsheet)

Open and save a spreadsheet with the title "Getrichin3hourswithnoworkatall".

Hmmmm, OK skip that name and save it as something you won't lose in your documents folder, or your desktop, or projects folder; just keep it handy. In fact, create a folder to keep this spreadsheet, and the other files we'll start collecting.

Now you're going to label columns as follows:
Site
Purpose
Location
Username
Password

Now come down vertically and list the above sites. You'll record the Zipped Sites purpose as webmaster aid; Cash Maniacs and Movie Dollars as sponsors, and the last two as weblog freehost. You'll record their respective URL's (web addresses) as locations, and most important the login info.

Trust me on this; I have used over 200 sponsors, and you don't want to be digging through emails to find the info when you want it quick.

You can even label a column for Notes if you want to keep track of something special.

If this is confusing, remember to leave a comment, and I'll address it in a post.

Now we take our first big step into pornography- our first post.

Do you know what kind of adult material you want to sell, or feel "good" about, or find most interesting?

Hopefully so, and that will be your "niche". Industry jargon for an area of pornography. Hopefully you created your blog with a name that fits your niche. If not, put that one aside, and sign up for another blog you'll name for something that fits your niche.

If you have signed up for the Thumblogger free hosting, then we'll start with a movie console from Movie Dollars.

Login to Thumblogger, and open another tab (or window) that you will open your Movie Dollars account in.

In the Movie Dollars window,
go to Webmasters (3rd link from the left)
go to Video Console (last link on the page)
play around with the options til you find something you find interesting, then click submit.
There will be some code there to copy.
Take and copy the code from the first box

Now go to the other tab/window you have Thumblogger in.
Click on Manage
Click on your blog name
Click on Looks (4th link from left in menubar)
you'll open in the "Full HTML template"
Find a piece of this where it says (can be in lower case, too) -
{OPEN BRACKET SLASH "HEAD" CLOSE BRACKET}
For open and close brackt look for the <> symbols

Paste the Movie Dollars code right above that
Go to the bottom of the web page, and click "save changes"
Go back to the Manage button
Click the green cross to add a new post
Go back to the Movie Dollars window and copy the code from the bottom box
Go back to the Thumblogger window and click the HTML button, 2nd row, 2nd from right
Paste the code in
Click the Update button
Make up a story to go with the movie, or just write a couple of generic lines after that
Go further up and add a subject ( a title for the post)
Go to the bottom of the page and click Add
Use the preview button at the top of the page to see what you get.
You can delete the post and try again if it doesn't work.
Don't let yourself get frustrated.
Ask a question here on the comments.

Tomorrow, we'll cover first post on redlightblog with a Cash Maniacs set. Also, we'll go into why you should be using Firefox from Mozilla, and all it's shiny extensions to make your job easier. Finally, here's the tool I promised you.
http://www.winguides.com/security/password.php

It's a online password generator. You're going to start changing passwords as you get them.
